The Position

We’re looking for a Head of HR to shape and drive LIZY’s people strategy as we continue to scale. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, designing and leading initiatives that attract top talent, nurture a high-performing culture, and future-proof our organization. You’ll champion employee engagement, foster strong internal communication, and embed learning and development at the core of our growth journey. You’ll ensure that all HR processes and operations run smoothly across our 3 markets. We’ve grown from 20 to 60 people over 3 countries in the last 3 years, and want you to help us scale further!

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, translating business goals into a people strategy that enables growth across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. You’ll work closely with Sam, our co-founder and CEO, and report directly to him.
• Lead initiatives that attract, engage, and retain top talent. Building a strong employer brand in the competitive war for talent.
• Oversee and continuously improve all core HR processes, from performance management to compensation, payroll and compliance, ensuring operational excellence at scale.
• Embed learning and development at every level of the company, supporting personal growth, team capability, and leadership development.
• Bring fresh perspectives on evolving workplace trends, helping LIZY stay future-proof, inclusive, and human-centric.

🙍‍🙋‍♂️About you

• 6–8+ years of HR experience, including in high-growth or fast-paced environments, with a proven track record of scaling people strategies across teams or geographies. Experience in an international setting is a plus.
• Excellent project manager: highly organized and structured. We’re in the building phase and you’ll be a pivotal person in helping Lizy get to the next phase.
• You're a people person with strong communication skills, tons of empathy and a natural ability to understand, develop, and empower others.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity: you’re comfortable building from scratch and making autonomous decisions.
• Fully proficient in English and either Dutch or French.
• Consulting or project management experience is a strong plus.
